Our work
What we create
Our approach
Bespoke jewellery should be straightforward.
We make it accessible, we price it honestly, and we explain everything — before you commit to anything.
01
We don't have a minimum spend.
A clear idea and a realistic budget is all you need to start a conversation. Bespoke is a process, not a price point.
02
We don't work on commission.
Every stone and setting we recommend is chosen for you, not for our margin. We explain our reasoning so you can decide with confidence.
03
Nothing is made until you approve it.
Your design, your pricing, your sign-off — at every stage, before any cost is incurred. You stay in control throughout.
Why À Vie
Not a template. Not a catalogue. Yours.
Designed around you, not around stock
We do not start with a catalogue and ask you to choose. We start with your brief — your stone, your budget, your occasion — and design from there. The result fits you, not one that nearly fits.
One conversation, not a ticket system
You work directly with us throughout. No account managers, no handoffs, no automated updates. Every decision is made with you, not around you.
Built to last, not just to look right on the day
Proportion, setting security, and metal choice are considered from the first design stage. A piece that performs in daily wear over decades is a different brief from one that photographs well once.
How it works
The Bespoke Journey
A clear, structured process from first conversation to final delivery.
Step 1

We discuss your idea, budget, timeline, and how the piece will be worn.
1–2 daysStep 2
Stone Sourcing
We shortlist suitable GIA or IGI certified diamonds or selected coloured gemstones.
3–7 daysStep 3
Design Development
Proportions, settings, and structural details are refined until you're happy.
5–10 daysStep 4
Your Approval
You confirm the final design and agreed pricing before anything is made. Nothing proceeds without your sign-off.
Your callStep 5

Your piece is crafted to specification with secure settings and careful finishing for long-term durability.
2–3 weeksStep 6
Final Inspection and Delivery
We check alignment, finish, and stone security before your piece is ready to wear.
2–3 daysPricing & Accessibility
This isn't luxury for the few — this is bespoke for everyone
Bespoke does not have to mean inaccessible. Understanding what drives the cost of a piece helps you make decisions that suit your budget — and get the result you want.
The Stone
The stone is the single largest variable in any commission. Carat weight, cut quality, colour grade, and rarity all move the cost significantly — and the same setting can look entirely different depending on what sits inside it.
The Metal
Metal type and total weight both contribute. Platinum costs more than gold by weight and requires more labour to work. A rivière necklace uses far more metal than a solitaire pendant on a fine chain.
The Making
Setting complexity, hand work, and any engraving determine the labour cost. A flush-set disc pendant and an elaborate cluster require very different amounts of bench time — and that difference is reflected honestly in the price.
Essential
From £800
A single stone solitaire pendant on a fine chain. One stone, one setting, clean and direct. The most accessible bespoke commission we offer — and often the most enduring.
Considered
£1,500 – £4,000
Halo or cluster settings, coloured stones, engraving, or a bespoke chain. More design input, a more individual result. The most commonly commissioned range.
Statement
£4,000 and above
Rivière necklaces, significant centre stones, elaborate pavé settings, or a fully bespoke commission with matched stone selection. The highest level of craft and material.
Tell us your budget. We will tell you what is possible.
